Favourite ship: Pacific Princess
Favourite destination: Mazatlan, Mexico
Best cruise tip: Your cabin steward is the most important crew member on the cruise. Look after them, and they will help make your cruise a very memorable experience.
I was employed as the District Sales Manager for Carnival Australia, based in NZ, before setting up Cruises Online, now Cruise Republic, (the owners of this website) in 2008. I am passionate about cruising and have enjoyed many voyages to and around destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, South Pacific and New Zealand. I have cruised on Pacific Dawn, Pacific Jewel, Pacific Pearl, Pacific Sun, Pacific Star, Sun Princess, Golden Princess, Pacific Princess, Royal...
Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Favourite destination: Croatia & Turkey
Best cruise tip: Check out which ports are famous for what souvenir so you don't purchase everything at the first port of call. Leave plenty of room in your suitcase for your shopping, or pack a carry bag to load with your purchases. The extra bag is also handy for any items you need to "declare" so you don't have to open your main suitcase!
I have worked in travel since 2003 after living abroad in New York, Calgary and London. I took 5 months off in 2009 to travel around Africa, Spain, Turkey and Croatia. Cruising is an awesome way to travel and I love seeing the growth as more and more Australians & Kiwis get to experience the wonder of "unpacking once" and not lifting a finger for the whole holiday!
Favourite ship: Queen Mary 2
Favourite destination: Los Angeles and Las Vegas
Best cruise tip: Although cruising is a cashless society it is always a good idea to take some small amounts of local currencies to make purchases when you are ashore.
I love cruising! It is a great way to see the world and make new friends. I have travelled to Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean, the Mediterranean, South Pacific, New Zealand and Mexico. All of them have been fantastic trips. I enjoy being able to unpack once, being surrounded by friendly staff from all over the world and being able to see several destinations in one trip.
Favourite ship: Celebrity Cruises
Favourite destination: Croatia/New York
Best cruise tip: Cruises are a great way to meet new people, so make sure you sit at a large table, even if you have 'Anytime Dining' and join in on the fun.
I have been working in the Cruise/ Travel Industry for almost 10 years now. I worked in the UK on and off for 4 years, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Apart from my cruise experience I have also traveled around Europe, United States, New Zealand, Australia, South Pacific and Asia. I have enjoyed...
Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Favourite destination: NYC
Best cruise tip: If possible, fly in the day before the cruise departs to extend your holiday and avoid any potential flight delays/traffic that may cause any necessary stress on embarkation day.
I decided to make the move into the travel industry after catching the travel bug following two trips to Europe and one to the USA and was working as a retail travel agent for the past 2 years before moving into cruising! I have mainly done land holidays in past, however I believe cruises are the perfect mix of doing as much or as little as you like while you sail!
Favourite ship: Queen Mary 2
Favourite destination: Greece
Best cruise tip: Make sure to book early if you’re wanting to take the family away over the school holidays – you don’t want to miss out and the ships fill up fast!

Favourite ship: Crown Princess
Favourite destination: Venice
Best cruise tip: Get to know the crew onboard your ship especially the Bar Staff. They are the people who know all the best places to visit in the ports of call and they will have lots of handy hints to help you spend your time wisely.
I love to travel and have been lucky enough to see most of the world during 12 years working for Princess Cruises as Food and Beverage Manager. I have a passion for cruising and believe its the best way to go on holiday as you only need to unpack once and you can do as much or as little as you like with your time onboard.
Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Favourite destination: Tokyo
Best cruise tip: Order everything! With so much food to choose from, it can be a great opportunity to try things that you ordinarily wouldn't choose from a menu. As so much of it is included in your ticket - what have you got to lose?
I'm new to the cruise industry, but travel is definitely something close to my heart! Last year I spent time in the UK, as well as Tokyo, Paris and Shanghai, but I still have a long list of places I'd like to visit. Cruising is the perfect way to make your journey between destinations as memorable and enjoyable as the time you spend in new cities, and I'm looking forward to helping you create the perfect trip.

Favourite destination: Germany / Croatia
Best cruise tip: Pre-book Drinks Packages and Shore Tours when possible to make the most of your enjoyment onboard.
I've been involved in the travel industry for 3 years now, after catching the travel bug while I was overseas in Europe I decided this was the industry I was most passionate about and wanted to focus on. After doing a lot of cruises for my customers I decided this was an area I wanted to focus on as I think it's a great way to travel and see a number of different destinations and cultures in one trip and with only having to unpack just ONCE! In my travels I have...

Its an awesome way to meet people and the best value for money holiday so why wouldn't...
Favourite ship: Oasis of the seas
Favourite destination: Austria
Best cruise tip: While the shows do vary from ship to ship, they are almost always really good and very entertaining. You may even have the opportunity to see a big name performer for a concert or comedy show for almost nothing. Because of the smaller size of a cruise venue vs. an arena, these events are more intimate and enjoyable than typical concerts–there is literally not a bad seat in the house!
I kicked started my career in travel at the age of sixteen back in Ireland. Working in the industry these last 9 years has allowed me to experience different cultures. I have travelled North America, The Caribbean, Europe, Asia and The middle east and my passion has lead me to Australia to continue working in the industry. With chefs like Jamie Oliver, Curtis Stone and Luke Mangan's restuarants popping up on cruise lines, you can dine on their signature dishes for a fraction of what you'd pay on land. All the included dining outlets are well worth a visit, but try to include one night at a specialty or celebrity chef restaurant to really enhance your cruise vacation.

I've been travelling my whole life and have been lucky enough to visit amazing places like Paris, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and many more with my favourite destination being the USA! Having sold cruises for most of my time in retail travel, I believe there's no better way to see a destination than on a cruise. Aside from all the amazing food and drinks you'll...
Cruise Consultant (Groups Division)

Best cruise tip: Make sure you check out shore tours provided by the cruise lines. These tours are a great way to make the most of the time you have at each port without running the risk of not getting back to the ship on time!
New to the travel industry this year.. excited to be working in cruise! I love to travel and have enjoyed travelling far from home to America where I traveled to California and Minnesota as well a little closer to home on my trip to Australia where I visited Gold Coast and Sydney. I actually stumbled into the travel industry by pure chance and now absolutely loving it!
