ABOUT MSC CRUISES

MSC Cruises is a leader in the Mediterranean cruise market, with cruises departing all year round, as well as offering a wide range of seasonal itineraries in Northern Europe, including Norwegian Fjords and Baltic Capitals, the Caribbean, South America, South and West Africa, Arabian Peninsula and Grand Voyages.

MSC Cruises’s state-of-the-art fleet is the result of a 6 billion euro investment programme started in 2003. Since March 2013, with the addition of Fantasia flagship MSC Preziosa, the fleet comprises 12 ships. The fourFantasia flagships – MSC Preziosa (2013) MSC Divina (2012), MSC Splendida (2009) and MSC Fantasia (2008) - are MSC Cruises’ largest vessels, each weighing approximately 140,000 tons, measuring 333m in length and 38m in width. MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia both accommodate 4,363 guests each, while MSC Divina accommodates 4,345 guests. Complementing them are the four vessels in the Musica Class - the brand new MSC Magnifica (2010), MSC Poesia (2008), MSC Orchestra (2007) and MSC Musica (2006) - each weighing 90,000 grt and carrying 3,000 guests. The fleet is completed by the four liners of the Lirica Class, with a grt of 60,000 tons and a capacity of 2,000 guests each - MSC Sinfonia (2005), MSC Armonia (2004), MSC Opera (2004) and MSC Lirica (2003).

MSC Cruises is proud of its Mediterranean heritage, which is reflected in the company’s reputation for sophisticated design and outstanding hospitality. Innovations in both exterior and interior designs for the MSC Cruises's fleet have earned prestigious awards for naval architects De Jorio Design International.

The gourmet dining experience on board combines the best of Mediterranean and international cuisine. In the fields of service and comfort, MSC Cruises is continuing to set new standards in luxury cruising. Groundbreaking initiatives include the MSC Aurea Spa, a lavish Balinese wellness centre, and the MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive area on the company’s three flagships offering elegant suites with around the-clock butler service and numerous other privileges.

These are the terms and conditions under which you book your cruise holiday and travel on any MSC Cruises product we sell you. You are bound by these terms and conditions, so it is important that you read them carefully.

Upon signing the Booking Form or payment in full of the passenger fare applicable at final payment, a contract (the “CONTRACT”) will come into existence. These Conditions of Carriage set out the terms that govern the relationship, responsibilities and liabilities as between the Passenger and the Carrier and are BINDING ON THE PARTIES. The Passenger has entered into a Passage Contract with MSC Crociere SA (“Organiser”) and these conditions have been incorporated into the Passenger’s contract with the Organiser. These Terms and Conditions of Carriage will also apply where the vessel is being used as a floating hotel whether or not there is a Passage Contract and whether or not there is any carriage. The Carrier reserves the right to amend, modify or change the Conditions of Carriage at any time without prior notice.
